From the moment we brought home Robbie, a young Cairn Terrier when I was young, I’ve had a great passion for the care and wellbeing of animals…
…The idea for our Cafe & Doggy Bakery all started with the notion that whilst our four-legged friends get a much deserved pamper, it would be wonderful to have somewhere to relax and wait for us too!
I’ve made doggy treats for years so the next step to a doggy bakery felt so natural. From our homemade pupcakes to our deliciously moreish human treats, you and your fur baby will enjoy all our Cafe and Doggy bakery have to offer.
Eventually I would love the The Hound Lounge to be a destination that offers everything doggy related, from parties, to grooming, to puppy weddings, with good outdoor fun for everyone.
Our mission for pups also extends to helping the community understand our local wildlife and what things to be mindful of. I am speaking to CANS (community action for nature) and we will be working together to put out information sheets and colouring sheets for children. Sheets that will help them search for insects, animals and plants in the area.
We are also really excited to bring in some puppy socialisation classes and hosting group walks, to help people stay connected with their neighbours and other like minded people in the area.
